The Design And Implementation Of PHS Short Message Web Sending System

In recent years, while mobile communication and its value-added service are developed rapidly, a kind of personal portable telephone system lying between mobile communication and regular telephone — Personal Handy-phone System (PHS, Xiaolingtong) begins to be popularized extensively in China. With the popularization of PHS, the researches of PHS value-added service, especially short message service become more and more important too. Because PHS is different from the ordinary mobile communication system, and the realization of short message service also has its own characteristic, it is of realistic using value to develop a PHS short message web sending system.Firstly, the thesis studies the principle of the Personal Handy-phone System, the principle of PHS short message service system and PHS short message gateway protocol (SMGP); Secondly, the thesis analyses the technologies needed to develop a web system, such as B/S structure, dynamic webpage technology, network data base visiting technology and etc.; Thirdly, the thesis combines the realization mechanism of mobile short message sending system with PHS communication technology, and designs and implements a PHS short message web sending system using web programming approaches.The key of designing and implementing this system is to implement the sending of PHS short messages. To realize that, the thesis studies the PHS short message gateway protocol (SMGP) in detail which is the protocol to connect short message sending systems with the PHS short message gateway. The thesis also studies the client programming package which is based on SMGP and provided by the short message gateway. Using the API interface functions of this client programming package and the multiple thread mechanism, the key module — short message receiving and sending module is implemented. In addition, some additional functions are added to make the system more perfect, such as content filter, sending flow controller and sending messages at a given time.In the detailed simulate test after the system is finished, every function can be realized, so the design object has been reached.The design and implementation of this system has some reference value to the design and implementation of PHS short message sending platforms and mobile short message sending platforms.
