Faced with the numerous challenges which are put forward during the development of modern science and technology, analytical instruments are going through great changes. Micromation, integration and conveniency of instrument are in obvious development trend. Micro total analytical system is a typical representation of them in this developing period.Summarization of current manufacturing methods of microfluidic chip and rapidproto(RP) technology is made in the article. And then a new method which uses stereolithography(SLA) technology to make microfluidic chip is put forward. This method is of important innovative value.The theory of SLA technology is detailed described in this article. Then the deficiency of STL format is analyzed. A new method in which the three dimensional body is directly delaminated is put forward. The delamination file is saved as BMP format. The BMP file is processed by VC++ programme. The step motor is controlled through computer parallel port. The step motor is connected with workbench. In the end, experiment is made to prove the feasibility of the whole system.
