Research On Definition And Composition Of Collaborative Template

Template technology is applied in many fields such as architecture, office, feature recognition, complex analysis & computation and plays an important role. Based on the research on Computer Supported Collaborative Work and template technology, the thesis researches Collaborative Template by considering problems in Computer Supported Collaborative Design. First the framework and design environment of Collaborative Template which combines mechanism of CSCW and template technology are introduced. Then the thesis focuses on study of the description, definition and composition of template applied in network collaboration. The study provides technical foundation for Collaborative Template and bases for research on the mechanism of Collaborative Template. The main contents include:1) The framework and design flow of Collaborative Template are introduced and validated by the instance of personal sofa.2) The representation and definition of template in Collaborative Template are presented. The thesis analyzes and compares performance of TXT and XML in description of template and establishes the basis of XML in representation of template. Then Template Design Markup Language is presented based on XML. The syntax and semantics of TDML are introduced and the interpretation module is implemented.3) The thesis researches template composition and separation of parameters and structure. Two key problems of naming conflict of components and subtemplate substitution in template composition are solved. The separation of parameters and structure of template is implemented, so as to reduce design information transmission and improves efficiency of Computer Supported Collaborative Design.
