Along with the unceasing developments of modern science and technology in various application fields of oil industry, as well as the continuous advances of modernized process in management of oil exploration, traditional mode of patrol inspection of oil well depending on manual work can not adapt the development of oil field already, effective monitoring management to oil well production has become one of the important subjects in oil field. However, present major remote monitoring systems of oil well have some open questions to some extent, such as irrational detection mode, lower reliability and real-time performance in data transmission, incomplete methods for data analysis and management and so on. The purpose of this paper is aiming at the oil pumping production in some ore of Henan oil field, to study the monitoring management software of oil well remote monitoring system profoundly.The oil well remote monitoring system consists of three parts, namely, local detection devices, local remote terminal units and administrative station. After introducing the base situation and design philosophy of the system, the paper analyzed the base function of them, which are data detection, data acquisition and transmission, as well as communication reception and monitoring management.The paper emphatically analyzed the monitoring management software of administrative station, and divided it into two parts according to different functions, namely, background communication receiving module and foreground configurational monitoring module. After introducing functions of the communication receiving module, the paper studied and designed the composition of the configurational monitoring module according to the real demands of field-work. Because of the relation of the two modules and the relation between two modules and data base, the paper designed the data base and analyzed two techniques of data exchange between this two modules, including DDE and ActiveX. Ulteriorly, the paper discussed the techniques of accessing configurational monitoring module remotely.Configurational monitoring module is the last reflection of the whole system's monitoring result. On the bases of the foregoing studies, the paper emphatically anddeeply studied how to use the KingView to realize the functions of 8 sub-modules of the configurational monitoring module, which is the core of the monitoring management software. The sub-modules include landing sub-module, process flow sub-module, report sub-module, curve sub-module, alarm sub-module, parameter setting and modification sub-module, menu sub-module and safety management sub-module. And the configurational monitoring module possesses perfect functions of dynamically monitoring the production process of oil pumping, dynamically displaying parameter records of current, voltage as well as power, inquiring and analyzing parameter records if need be, drawing tendency charts of current and voltage, telemetering indicator diagram timely, generating report, analyzing various faults and alarming in time, safely managing system etc.The primary result indicated that the work condition monitoring system of sucker rod pumping well was in good working order in site.
