Vertical style graphic user interface (Abbr. GUI) is designed for traditional Mongolian Computer Users. Nowadays, the research on Vertical style GUI is rarely seen and so is the implementation of Vertical style GUI. Because the population of Mongolian in China is as large as 5.8 Million, the number of Mongolian computer user is large. And so forth, the research and implementation of Vertical style GUI is necessary. The thesis discussed the background of the Vertical Style GUI first, then talked about the Human-Computer interaction theory that is related with the research and design of Vertical style GUI, in the following chapter, with the help of the theories, the research and research result on vertical style GUI is introduced, and based on the research result, we implemented two system of Vertical style GUI, one is facing the application of Human-Computer interaction on computer software applications and the other is facing the application of Internet Information Share and Network Interaction. The main work of the thesis lies on the following items: firstly, summarized the Human-Computer interaction theory that is related with the research and design of Vertical style GUI; secondly, talked in detail about the research and design of the Vertical Style GUI; thirdly, talked about the two system implementation of the Vertical style GUI, on is V-Qt system, which is based on C++ and the other is VAWT system, which is based on Java.In addition, some results that the research got is different from common understanding of the Mongolian information processing field, and which is need to be further researched and questioned.
