PROFIBUS was developed in the world during mid-eighties in 20 centory,it was a serial,digital,multi-point and double-derection data bus which was installed between field device of industrial area and auto-control device of control centre .As a kind of international standard field bus ,PROFIBUS is widely used in the world depending on its flexibility and reliability .PROFIBUS-DP is a protocal being used in field device control system and dispersal I/O communication.Product of PROFIBUS of present maket, however,is produce by foreign company such as Siemens. There is no such product inland,so it is nessissary to develop low-cost intelligent device based on field bus in order to reduce production cost and improve competence of our enterprise. This paper takes deep research on IEC61158 international standar,EN50170 European standard and the protocol rule of ASIC chip SPC3 from Siemens on the base of simple introduction about PROFIBUS protocol. The paper presents a scheme to develop PROFIBUS-DP intelligent slave station interface using SPC3 on the base of mastering PROFIBUS technique, design the PROFIBUS-DP hardware circuit using SPC3 and microprocessor, develop program of interface and application according to SPC3 protocal, manufacture a universal PROFIBUS-DP intelligent slave interface board. Then a complete PPROFIBUS intelligent networked control system was set up using process control,I/O control, motor drive control and video control as object ,RS485 protocal transition technique and intelligent slave interface board mentioned above. At last ,the developed field bus interface is adaptive to indusrial control system which is proved by experiment and it has a good prospect...
