Software radio system is a fast developing technology along with the breakthrough of micro-electronics. It is becoming the most important and promising research field in communication and electronic scope for its open structure, flexibility and salability.This thesis investigates the information processing method and application in software radio system. Firstly, the concept, characteristics, basic theory, and composition of SWR are introduced; the mathematic model of SWR is also proposed. On this basis, digital filter, adaptive equalizer, DQPSK modem algorithm and the Viterbi decoding of convolution code are discussed systematically. Finally, some simulation and implementations based on MATLAB and DSP are presented. This thesis can be a good reference for the research and application of SWR.
