| Many IT departments of banks manage more than one project simultaneously by hand without convenient IT tools and this situation bothers them much. The more projects there are, the more complicated the Project-Management is. Therefore, they have the intense demand to the multi-projects management software product.This thesis takes the development of IT Multi-Projects Management System for a bank as the background. It expounds the latest evolvement in the territory of project management, and analyzes the present situation of the technologies being applied in Web development and the trend of the progress of the J2EE technology. It illustrates the process of how to establish a platform using some new technologies such as web component, object-relation mapping, and separating codes from html, for rapidly developing, and elaborates the process of development of IT Multi-projects management system on the new platform, including system analysis, design and realization. There are two main achievements here:First is a new J2EE rapid developing platform that suits the WEB development. This is a reusable achievement, may continue to play its role in other systems developments. Developing on the new platform can remarkably enhance the reusability of code, reduce workload of coding and debugging, therefore, can reduce the development cycle. At the same time, this development platform has a very strong extensibility. Along with more and more modules being accumulated in this platform, it can further enhance the code reusability and reduce workload. In this way, the goal of rapidly developing a strong and healthy application with high quality can be reached easily.Second is a typical WEB application - the IT multi-projects management system for a bank. This article in detail elaborated the system analysis, design and the process of realizing on the new platform. At present, this system is already running on-line, and it has perfectly satisfied the demand of the user to the multi- projects management. |
