Traffic Engineering is used to solve the problem of network congestion and insufficiency of available network resource that was caused by the development of network scale. However, the current technology of traffic engineering is built on IP over ATM, which is limited by its inherent complexity to administrate and extend. It is exigent for ISPs to seek a kind of new technology to overcome its limit. Traffic engineering technology based on MPLS is the most promising technology that is commended by the industry.The scheme given in this paper involves four modules: packet forwarding module, information distribution module, path computation module and signaling module. Stress is laid on path computation. In this part, we research the constraint condition and aim function of the traffic engineering dynamic routing algorithm, build the math model of the algorithm, and give the routing rules. In the end, by the computer simulation, we validate the feasibility of the routing and advantage of the current shortest path priority routing.
