Fair Queue Algorithm In Wireless Network

Abstract/Summary:
In the future, Area bandwidth access network will play an important role in global communication structure. So BWA are required to provide QoS guarantee for different service. In all technology problems, The most important is packet scheduling, because packet scheduling can be used to control bandwidth and congestion. IEEE 802.16 protocol only define a frame of Bandwidth access network, and leave scheduling algorithm to vender. This paper do some research just in this status to wireless resource scheduling algorithm applied in PMP and MESH network.In one hand, This paper's one research purpose is the scheduling structure and resource assignment algorithm in PMP network. After do some research of WFQ and WF2Q which play an important role in wired network, we do more deeply research in how integrate these algorithm into IEEE 802.16. Then we get the mean delay's borderline by M/G/FQ. For validate the theory, we build a model for our new scheduling structure , and then simulate and analysis this model's performance.On the other hand, corresponding with IEEE 802.16 mesh structure, This paper do further research to the application of fair queue algorithm into distributing network or AD-HOC network, based on A Self-Coordinating Approach to Distributed Fair Queuing in Ad Hoc Wireless Networks, we research the theory and function of three mechanism in this algorithm. Finally we analysis the performance of this algorithm.
