The embedded system is a specific system, which majors in the applications, is based on the computer technology, can be adaptive in the hardware and software according to the necessities, has the stability, is strict in the investment, in the vicinity and the power waste, and can be fitable for the need of system. Being the fatal part of the embedded system, the embedded microprocessor has been grown up from 8-bit to 16-bit, and then to the current 32-bit MCU. As we all know, as the embedded system is used in the vary fields in our daily life, it become more attractive to eyes of people. As an example of the use, the embedded visa system for oil load has been lead into the research project.This essay discusses carefully about the theory of the embedded visa system, besides the main technology and the phisical design architecture. Based on the primitive components put up with by the essay, the whole visa system came into the reallity.The contents of the essay are made up of several chapters as follows:The first chapter mainly talks about the base of the embedded visa system, in which the basic knowledge of the embedded visa system is evolved, then ARM technology, the current new technology, is introduced, and finally the main feature of the system and the tools for the design of the system are basically introduced.The second one pays the main attention to IC card technology and theory. In this part, it talks about IC card theory and classifies the reader and writer, then it introduces the theory of RD series parellel touched IC card, and lastly the functions of the drivers for read and write.In the third chapter, the essay evolves mainly the fatal technology used in the system and the platform for the embedded system. As for the platform, the uClinux Operating system is carefully mentioned, which includes the forward of the operating system and the build of situation for the system.The forth chapter majors in the design of hardware which is mainly made up of the S3C44B0 system architecture, system management and power management. In this part, the relative knowledge of the ARM research board is introducted.The fifth chapter introducts the lower drivers, it analyses the theories of serial port, LCD port, keyboard and some driver programs.The final part of the essay talks mainly about the design and build of the system. According to the theory mentioned in the upper chapters and the real needs of life, the whole embedded visa system is built carefully.The essay has done much deep research work at the embedded system, and systematically introducted the features and advantadges of the embedded operating system. The visa system can be very valuable for many fields because of the adaptive ablity. It also can give some advice to other embedded system.
