Research And Design Of Wireless Sensor Network

With the development of the computer and relative technology, it is possible to integrate the computing , communication , networking and sensing into one tiny embedded device, wireless sensor network is a new research area embedded of those technology. People want to share the computing resource and information service anywhere and anytime, so the Pervasive Computing is a novel computing model which satisfies this requirement. Wireless Sensor Network is an import research area of Pervasive Computing. Integrated with sensor unit, data processor unit and communication module, Tiny sensor nodes can work to form a self-organization network, to sample the environment data or monitor the environment. Research of the wireless sensor network gradually gets the focus from the industrial and academe. It has a great application future in the military and civil area.The most important technology to support the application of the wireless sensor network has two aspects. One is the Operation System design to support the function of the sensor node. The other is the wireless network system design. This paper is based on the current research of the Pervasive Computing and Wireless sensor network. We propose novel network architecture to support the wireless sensor network, the design of the sensor node, component based network stack design, also the security of the wireless sensor network.In chapter one, we first introduce the conception of the Pervasive Computing and its research area, and also the wireless sensor network. Then in chapter two, we discuss the design challenge of the sensor node and the network architecture, and propose our solution. In chapter three, we propose the design of component based wireless network stack including the routing security issues. Finally in chapter five, we analysis the security issues of the wireless sensor network. We then propose the methods to secure the communication between a node and the base station, and also the broadcast communication to secure the wireless sensor network.
