Wireless sensor network is a new research area of modern communication technology, in recent years, with the rapid development of sensor technology, microelectronics technology and wireless communication technology, it had gradually become the hot research in academia and industry, and provided a new way for information acquisition and processing technology, through the sensors real-time monitoring, acquisition various of environmental or monitoring object's information transmitted to the user by self-organization and wireless communication. Recently, wireless sensor network gradually applied to military and commercial field, its security is becoming more and more important, and so how to achieve communication safety of wireless sensor network is an important research.This thesis mainly researches the GEAR routing protocol for wireless sensor networks, because it has comprehensive performance. For the GEAR can not resist the false routing, Sybil attacks and selective forwarding etc, so we designed a kind of new security routing protocol named GT-GEAR, this new protocol with the following features.(1) In wireless sensor network, there exists routing loop phenomenon while utilizing GEAR routing protocol to solve the Routing Hole, resulting in more hop counts and low network energy efficiency. This thesis proposed an improved scheme based on the feedback avoid thoughts, it can solve the transient routing loop effectively and reduce packet forwarding hops, decrease the network's energy cost. Remedy for enhanced GEAR security behind to energy consumption.(2) GT-GEAR protocol will use scheme of pair-key pre-distribution, and be divided the network into the form of triangular grid, and uses it to manage keys. In this scheme of every adjacent pair-unit associated with a Blom matrix, the proposed scheme can against false routing and Sybil attacks very well, and reduced the storage costs for each node.(3) For selective forwarding attacks, we added a node credibility in GT-GEAR routing protocol. When forwarding node chooses the next jump, we comprehensive consideration each Neighbors node's learned cost, trusted value and the residual energy, and choose the highest value as the next routing node, this scheme balanced networks'energy consumption, and resist selective forwarding attacks effectively. Finally, we analysis the improved GT-GEAR routing protocol's features comprehensively, and simulate the GT-GEAR protocol in the same scheme of key pre-distribution but different meshes, the simulation results show that the node storage cost decreased and enhanced the ability of against attack, though the network secure connectivity didn't decreased obviously. Then in the condition of a source node and multiple source nodes respectively, the simulation of GT-GEAR and GEAR protocol choose the Routing Load and Packet Delivery Rate as the performance parameters, and the simulation results showed GT-GEAR protocol has better performances than GEAR.
