With the development of technology and the increment of need in usage, In the field of official automation and inspection of products' quality, there are requirements of large-area, high-speed and high-precision for the system of image test and identification. In the official automation field, It is required to scan large-area image or business card by the way of high-speed and high-precision to improve the efficiency and quality. In the field of products' quality inspection, It is required to test and control the PCB's, magnetic core's of harddisk and LCD's quality accurately. If the quality inspection were executed by human's eyes as before, the intention could not be achieved. But the system of machine vision can get over these disadvantages, improve production efficiency and reduce the cost of production.On the base of development trend and actual application requirement in the field of machine vision, this thesis is focused on the research of large-area scan techniques based on linear CCD. The following are my several main work:(1) On the base of studying on optical-electronic test techniques and comprehending the characteristics and working principle of linear CCD deeply, The research about the application and realization of large-area scanning techniques is carried on.(2) Research of testing method of linear CCD. According to the selected linear CCD's characteristics with digital synchronous techniques, Some new methods including obtaining of CCD signal, filtering, pixel compensation, automatic gain, Gray-scale transformation, automatic selection of the optimal threshold in image binarization, GLP, are brought forward.Primary function of precise testing is realized.(3) Application of Borland C++ Builder 6.0.
