The Video Surveillance And Transmission System Based On DirectShow

Video surveillance system has been widely applied in many fields, such as product management, ensure public security for providing information fast, direct and timely. Now it becomes an important and effective tool of the safe defend surveillance which has been used in the bank, traffic, electric power, police, CIQ, national defence, and so on. In the past, most of the surveillance system is analog surveillance system, and it's also been used very widely, however, it has disadvantages. As the unceasing development of network technique and the increasing modes of digital coding process in image, newly network digital video surveillance system shows its particular predominant gradually.A design of vedio surveillance system by using the Directshow technique is introduced in this thesis, based on IP network. In this system distributed technique has been used. It enables the system have excellent reliability, and also can be transplant and maintain easily. The structure of the system is C/S mode, including two layers construct of server and client. The main function modes of the system include video transmission module, video receive module, pan-tilt-zoom control module and temperature surveillance Module.In the thesis, it firstly introduces the background of the video surveillance system, the development of the system and the actuality and application fields. Then, the DirectShow technique, network vedio transmission protocol and the Standard of MPEG are analyzed and presented, including introduce of the DirectShow technique, basic knowledge of COM technique, system of DirectShow, protocol of TCP/IP and protocol of UDP and RTP/RTCP. This thesis devotes mainly to the analysis and design video surveillance system based on DirectShow technique. In addition to discussing the design structure of the system structure and theory, the software and hardware's design are presented. The realization of the design isintroduced specially as follows: the RTP filter's design based on the DirectShow technique, the realization of the transition module, receive module and pan-tilt-zoom control module. At last we analyze and summary the thesis.
