This paper has summed up the state and characteristic of development of the remote control system, showed developing direction of the control system with the development of network technology, expounded the necessity of studying in remote control technology. On the basis of carrying on further investigation on relevant theories and technology, an experiment platform is designed to help researcher carry on analysis and research.This paper has analyzed the basic program structure of the remote control system and studied the theory of the distributed remote control- system. On the basis of analyzing and comparing with various kinds of schemes, it regarded three-layer structure as program structure, DCOM as system model, XML for data transfer method and ADO for visiting database method to design the remote control experimental system.Three-layer C/S structure can establish real "thin customer", have good securities, strong expansion and elasticity, and good flexibility. Establishing distributed remote control system based on DCOM platform make COM component have network communication capacity and shield the detail of communication so that developers can pay attention to solving the needed problem and needn't care about the details of protocols. And it makes the whole procedure of the communication module clearer, the application software easy to debug and expand, and the independence, portability stronger by using XML as the data transfer method.Finally, this text regarded resistance furnace as the controlled plant, designed and realized network control system experiment platform software in detail. Through the experiment platform, researchers can do research of network delay, communication method and control algorithm. The overall operation procedure of the system is that the actual temperature is sended to the client program by Internet, client program uses control algorithm and the actual temperature value to calculate the open time in one control cycle and sends it to server program. Server program use the time to control the triac in order to control the caloric value within unit time of resistance wire, thus regulate the temperature of the resistance furnace.The whole software is divided into the data communication module, databasemodule, hardware driver module, graphical display module and control algorithm module. Each module is designed respectively. The involved technology is analyzed in detail. Feasibility of the scheme and practicability of the experiment platform are verified through concrete experiment results.
