Study The Practice System Base On IRT

Computerized Adaptive Practice is an important part of adaptive study, we can get an accurate measurement of students'ability and choose question that matches their capability through it, Adaptive practice is of great importance in improving studying efficiency and quality on not only classroom instruction and study by oneself, it would reduced the quantity of student's repeated exercise, improves the efficiency of the exercise. It offer practiced date for the item bank through students' exercise under the environment of computer network, we can makes parameter of item more accurate through that data. There are two kinds of measurement theories mainly: Classical Test Theory (CTT) and Item Response Theory (IRT), IRT is the focus on measurement of education at present, it is a theoretical foundation of adaptive exercise, this paper has explained the advantage and disadvantage of two kinds of theories at first, have analysed the estimations of the parameter of the item and student's ability parameter under IRT theory especially. In the same time the test analysis and item bank system has been developed,combining with the practical work. The main ideas of this dissertation are as follows: Chapter one illuminates some problem about study by oneself and the use of item bank at present. Adaptive practice would promote the study by oneself and make the item bank more accurate. Chapter two points out the difference between Item Response Theory and Classical Test Theory after explaining their mathematics foundations, IRT put forward the value of information of the item, provide a mathematics method to calculate student's ability value and information value.a number of ways to estimate the item parameters was introduced and their advantages and disadvantages were analyzed to offer reliance for selecting fitting method based on item response theory. Chapter three analyzes the realization of system base on 2PLM is introduced. Analyzes the designed goal, the application range and environment. It also deals with the comprehensive research, the functional module, the logic design. In order to share the information and make full use of all kinds of resources, the item bank consulted relevant national standards and meet the system function with change it little. Chapter four elaborates on the key technology in designing system utilizes VC6. 0 ,include the Storage of multimedia data,data security protection ,etc. The last chapter shows the application of the system , and demonstrates the conclusion.
