We are told that human beings now are in a new media age —the Internet Age. In the 20th century , Marshall Mecluhan, a famous media expert, pointed out, "Internet is the medium of all media..." The appearance of internet has put a powerful influence on traditional mass media. Therefore, TV's say has changed accordingly. With China's entrance to WTO and the increasing openness of media market, people are now confronted with a new challenge: in the Internet Age , how will TV survival? How will TV maintain the influence of its "say"? And how will TV get well together with other media? And so on.Based on such background of media development, this article analyses different aspects and discusses the competition and coexistence between two main media: TV and Internet. All of those discussed in this are to explore new approaches for TV's development and its say in Internet Age.
