As one of the most popular communicating tools in recent twenty years, mobile telephonegets enormous attention and favor from human beings. Nowadays, to us, it has alreadybroken the technical meaning and penetrated into the culture and life of human beings.This thesis intends to look on mobile telephone and mobile telephone advertisement astexts and analyzes its multi-meanings by using the theories of Communicating Studies,Cultural Studies and Consuming Social Studies. In the first volume of this thesis, it lookson the technical form of mobile telephone as texts and analyzes deeply by relying on thetheories of technical culture, communicating culture, and prevailing culture. In the secondvolume of this thesis, it looks on 150 mobile telephone advertisements as texts and findsthe same symbols among the different mobile telephone advertisements. It analyzes theexisting meanings and value of mobile telephone advertisements by means of the relevanttheories of Consuming Social Studies.The total word count of this thesis is 37,000 or so. It consists of six chapters includingpreface, first volume and second volume.In preface, it illustrates the source of this researching topic, present researchingbackground and situation in domestic and overseas, and the features and innovations ofthis thesis.In the first chapter, it indicates the change from the whole environment of media transitionto the technical culture form of mobile telephone.In the second chapter, it probes into the communication influence of the invention anddevelopment of mobile telephone from the point of Communicating Studies.In the third chapter, it releases the deep causes why human beings accept and like mobiletelephones, which results in its today's popularity from the point of culture.In the fourth chapter, through the elements of yachts, pop dances, skating board, bars andcars, it releases that the target consumers are the young whose pursuing for mobile...
