Research Of Disaster Recovery Of Network Management Database

Database technology supplies a favorable support for the efficient and steady development of telecom enterprise. But the risk of restoring data is increased by centralizing data excessively. The database disaster recovery system is an effective approach to improve the security of data. In this field, one of the research emphases is to implement the database disaster recovery system whose nodes can be distributed with unlimited physical location and have the ability of data auto-synchronization and whose disaster recovery time must be short enough. Based on the research of replication and backup technology of Sybase database and the analysis of existent problems in high-availability database system, this paper designs a disaster recovery scheme of Sybase database. In this scheme, the database nodes can be distributed in WAN or LAN and switched transparently to user applications and the system's disaster recovery time is short and the cost is low. And the function of auto backup in Solaris and the backup files management are also designed and implemented in this system.
