Field bus has a lot of advantages, such as opening, total digitalization, two-way and serial, nodal communication, etc. With the wide application of field bus, the monitored control system based on field bus has been widely applied in such a lot of fields as industrial control, automatic instrument and apparatus, intelligent weaponry, etc. Direct it against in a situation that there are no ripe products yet at home in the automatic monitored control field of large-scale parking area at present, so we designed and realized a kind of monitored control system for illumination based on CAN bus. The advantage of the system is high dependability, flexible system configuration, on-the-spot scheme that can be downloaded, reconfiguration operation mode, etc.Considering the common question of the automatic monitored control system during system design and realization and the prevalent applicability based on CAN field bus technology, this system theory and technique not only can be applied in illuminating monitored control in the diversified large-scale parking area but also can be applied in other a lot of relevant monitored control fields, has wide generalized applied prospects.On the basis of current situation and prospect of the monitored control system both here and abroad, we carried on deeply research in the CAN bus which was applied widely including its protocol and theory, discussed the design and realization of the monitored control system based on CAN field bus, proposed the design plan of the on-the-spot illumination controller based on CAN bus, described amply the realization of the software and hardware of the illumination controller and some key technological problems and solutions during the course of developing. In addition, we compared and analyzed the major technology adopted by the prevalent configuration software, proposed and described amply the concrete design and realization of the configuration software in this system, introduced the application of it in the automatic monitored control system in large-scale parking area.
