The threaten electromagnetic environment is composed of all kinds of signals, which are emitted by enemy radars, in the fields where the electron reconnaissance equipments exist. The threaten electromagnetic environment simulation is one of the basic and important means of the research and development on Electronic Counter Measures (ECM), and it can not only produce the approximately real electromagnetic environment, but also lower the cost, increase the flexibility and enhance the performance of repetition and secrecy. The producing methods of various threaten signals are researched. And the model of the dense and complex radio frequency pulse signals is founded on the analysis of single radar signal. The detection, parameter measure, and the Pulse Description Words (PDW) forming of every kind radio frequency pulse signal done by various electron reconnaissance equipments are analyzed basing on their operational theory. With the use of the software programming tools of Visual C++6.0 and Microsoft Access, the model of threaten electromagnetic environment is founded, including such modules as the radio frequency pulse signal model, the frequency and direction measure models of the front part of reconnaissance equipments and the universal PDW forming model. And then the real-time production technology of PDW is presented, and the real-time PDW data stream can provide the testing electromagnetic environment for the task of beforehand research and for the radar detecting experimentation which is part of the major course establishment. Finally the models of the narrowband amplitude and phase modulated signals and their parameter estimation methods are discussed. The methods which are used to detect the phase-modulated signals, such as phase analysis method, instantaneous auto-relation analysis method and time-frequency analysis method, are presented. And the detection method for the phase-coded signal with the modular of wavelet transform coefficients using the Morlet wavelet function is discussed especially.
