Digital Radio Frequency Memory (DRFM) is a kind of microwave signal storage device. It can sample and store an incident RF signal, and reconstitute the signal upon commands from the controlIer.DRFM has developed an essential part of the electronic countermeasure (ECM) systems.This paper introduces the classification, composing and operation principles of DRFM. A new method of DRFM useing amplitude-phase quantizing is presented, based on classical amplitude quantizing DRFM and phase quantizing DRFM. Its structure characteristics are described in detail. Its advantages in improving reconstituted signal's fidelity and in aspect of phase modulateing are demonstrated by theory analysis. In allusion to a practicality system, the hardware implemention is designed. Some ECM technologies based on amplitude-phase quantizing DRFM are studied. At last, this paper descuses the effect on utter frequency, caused by phase discontinuity of replicated signal, and reseaches the phase correction method of amplitude-phase quantizing DRFM. Finally, a feasibility correction plan is presented.
