The Study On Component--Based Development Environment

The appearance of crisis of software and trend of industrialization in computer software leads to the appearance of software component. software can be composed with components like hardware ,which is the aim of software industry for many years. Full use of existed software component will improve production efficiency, and reduce lots of repetition labor, improve quality of software. The appearance of the technology of Component-Based Development is one of reforms of traditional software development, and leads to utmost reuse for component. This brings forth to a question for largest software development: how to Construct the framework of component repositories; how to organize and manage the component repositories; how to establish the environment of Component-Based Development (CBD); and how to development the application system in some realm using the technology of Component-Based Development.In this paper, Firstly, the basic concepts and classify about component, are discussed ,and compare three kinds of mainly technologies of component ,such as CORBA , COM/DCOM , J2EE. Secondly, the paper analyses in details the management of component repositories, and study the basic demand and mainly function of component repositories, and introduce several component retrieve methods. What's more, the paper studies several noted component repositories, include of their component model.In Chapter Three, component repositories and environment are discussed, and include CBSE/CBD. It mainly discussed the development engineer of CBSE/CBD which related with development environment, and how to realize system in CBSE/CBD.In Chapter Four, the application in the domain of GIS of CBSE/CBD are discussed in this chapter, which mainly analyses how to realize the WebGIS of WuHan use of the component of MapXtreme.Lastly, conclusion and expectation are discussed in the end of this paper.
