Abstract/Summary:
With the development of human society, the importance of environment protection is increased. As a new observation and protection product, the water-quality observation system is more and more paid attention. But most devices in use now are using chemical methods that will spend more time to draw the result, so we developed a set of real-time detection instrument of water quality. Using electrochemistry and biology technology, it can monitor the water quality by the measuring the COD, BOD and TOC.In present dissertation, the theories, the overall design and realization of the software and hardware of the instrument were introduced generally. And most importantly, we use RTX-51 (a kind of RTOS based on MCS51) as the software environment because of its real-time, reliability and convenience. We introduced it carefully in the article, and we emphasize the realization of the function of communication. In the design of the hardware system, main-attachment mode was adopted. The board of center process unit is the main node while the board of LCD is used as the attachment node. This method improved the expansibility. If we want to expand the system, what we need to do is only to add a mainboard as the attachment node. Furthermore, a new method was used in the design of the function of communication. We realize it by the method of modularization. It made the communication program very easy to realize, and ensured the correctness of the program.In the software designing and hardware debugging, we solved many problems that never are thought about. This improved our understanding of the whole system.In a word, the water-quality observation system is high quality and inexpensive, safe and credible, met the request of clients.
