The Research And Implementation Of The Data Gateway Based On XML

A society in an information era can't develop without the information and data sharing. Data, as a very important and active kind of resource in the information era, has drawn special attention from the whole world, while the level of data sharing presents the development potential of a region or enterprise. We must solve the data sharing problem at the maximum level and absorb the value of data resources, as long as the Science and Technology department of State has propose the strategy of shifting our country from a mass data state to a fruitful data resource state. Therefore, it has become the inevitable choice to manage the data sharing, to improve the competition of the enterprise in our country.A data gateway technology based on XML has been researched focusing on the problem of data integration and sharing in this paper. The gateway architecture is composed of the unified modeling of the data model, unified data presentation based on XML and access/extraction. Using the metadata management architecture driven by the application model to do the Unified modeling, can hide the differences between the different data content and format; the unified logic view can provide a direct method to manage and access the models; the data access layer acts as a role of access and extraction from different data sources during the period of the whole data integration.The data gateway architecture proposed in this paper is a key part of the 00 middleware provided by Zhongchuang software and NUDT, in which the unified data access model in the data extraction component has been implemented, and the data access middleware InforLink has been constructed based on the STARBUS, a product of the state 863 project provided by the NUDT. Meanwhile, the architecture has been applied in the enterprise application integration product, InforEAI, provided by the Zhongchuang software. It has been proved that the architecture proposed in this paper can help the enterprise integrate various data sources, implement data sharing and provide important support for the enterprise information construction.
