With China’s accession to the WTO, and starting to open the banking industry in 2003 and in 2006 the overall market to foreign Banks can build the organization in China from 2006, China’s banking industry is facing strong competition from Banks in developed countries.How to improve the management level, improve competitiveness, promote the financial electronic informatization become the top priority of each bank.On more than 10 years later, all companies builded many kinds of business system, every bank has accumulated a lot of business activities generated data.But because of China as a developing country, in the process of informatization construction experience is insufficient, lack of unified planning and a variety of criteria, most Banks accumulate data has not been effective utilization.Along with the computer technology and management level of ascension, more and more managers realize that information from the data analysis has become the core of the enterprise management decision now.So how to integrate the business data from the bank, providing highly reliable data statistical analysis to managers, becomes the key to enhance the level of bank management decisions.Using data warehouse technology, so as to construct a unified and integrated analysis of the application system can do this.Based on the deep understanding of the data warehouse technology theory, in order to a bank of such projects as the background, implementation of data warehouse projects in the banking industry, from architecture to conduct the thorough research to the key technology in the analysis, mainly from the following several parts:1) The advantages and disadvantages, in-depth analysis of the traditional data warehouse architecture to banking system structure of data warehouse design optimization to improve, by joining ODS(operational data store) part and DM(data mart) part,finally the new architecture is data staging- operational data storage- data warehouse- data mart four layers architecture, so that the data warehouse of loose coupling as far as possible, reduce the problems, and thus have a quasi real-time data acquisition analysis platform, to the greatest extent possible to meet user needs.2) According to the characteristics of the banking system of complex data source, according to the customers’ need, base on the directly extraction from database, based on the normalized data file extraction, based on real-time database log analysis from three ways, finally using the Datastage extraction tool to achieve them.3) Complex business requirements for the banking industry, the realization of the function of phase points and the key point of the whole system, and it is implemented by IBM Datastage tool.4) According to the characteristics of the bank huge data quantity, introduces in detail the strategy of the data Load and use the DB2 Load tools to achieve high performance.5) Finally simulated production environment, verify the feasibility of the authentication system, guarantee system of high reliability, and ensures stable operation in the actual production environment.
