Along with the development and improvement of computer technique, digital compression technique, high-speed broad band network technique, and high-speed large-capacity memory, production and broadcasting of broadcast and television have stepped into digital time and treatment of program signal has changed radically: from analog format to digital format. Currently, most of television stations have applied non-linear digital compile to production, while only part of television stations have achieved complete hard-drive standard definition digital broadcasting based on MPEG-2 treatment on the aspect of program broadcasting. In terms of the requirement of State Bureau of Broadcast and Television , nationwide provincial television stations should accomplish the digital transition before 2005.Three basic techniques applied in digital reconstruction of television production and broadcasting system were narrated in details: video compression and MPEG standard, data backup RAID technique, and SAN frame network technique. Evolution of television production and broadcasting system is analyzed briefly in this paper. Based on those, the author design and participate in execution of hard-drive based automatically broadcasting system scheme according with channel 6 broadcasting requirement, combining digitized broadcasting reconstruction project of Jiangsu Broadcast Corp.The main work and innovations are shown below:(1) Deeply investigation has been made on the basic techniques involved in digital reconstruction of broadcast and television: video compression and MPEG standard, data backup RAID technique, and SAN frame network technique.(2) The digitization process of production and broadcasting of broadcast and television is analyzed. The author also co-designed and co-executed digitized broadcasting reconstruction project satisfying the demand of channel development of Jiangsu Broadcast Corp, and elaborated the scheme as well.(3) The problems widespread in digital reconstruction: the detection problem in ensuring safe operation of device and the problem in the incorporation of digital production and broadcasting have been analyzed and experimentally investigated.(4) The traditional program broadcasting mode is analyzed. Efficiency and cost has been compared in the new mode investigation has been made for rational digital reconstruction.
