| The thesis presents a design program that is about the fingerprint identification of the USB Key through analyzing of the USB Key's using nowadays. The thesis expounds that as the fingerprint has the characteristics of innateness, uniqueness, fixity, we can make use of the three characters to put the biometrics into user identification . The fingerprint's contrasting can be put into COS safety chip, so as to make the identification authentication of document be safety. The USB Key can be tried out on intranet and the personal official computers to make them safety and identification distinguished.The author mainly undertook the whole design of the system that includes the structure of the system, the main function of the system and making sure of every function etc. About concrete accomplish of the system, the author undertook the design of each sub-system's function and process as well as the design of data base structure and IC document's structure. And accomplish of concrete program code is finished by the other colleagues. The system is at last accomplished by our efforts after over one year.
