Web application is the one of important areas of the database applictions. with the quick deveploment of computer technology and the gradual modernization and standardization of business administration, It is an inevitalbe trend to establish web application of enterprise. The paper describes a process of developing large database application system based on network by developing a practical business administration system.Above all, this paper introduces the background and functional requirements of the system and the work of the author. Then, the paper describes the technologies related to the system.System analysis: The paper makes use of object-oriented method to design the case model by analysing the use cases and roles of the system based on the functional requirements of business administration. Then, the paper gives the E-R model according to the case model.Systems design: the paper describes the database design of the system by standard mapping, according to the E-R model. It gives the classes and hierarchical structure of them and the implementation of the design of logic layer, according to data and operation of practical business and encapsulation and abstract. The paper designs view layer (usreinterface), according to the show format of data.System realization: the paper gives details of the implementation of the system based on dot NET platform by making use of XML, C# and other technologies. It take ASP.NET technology to implement view layer and ADO.NET technology to realize database connection. Finally, the paper gives a partly running result of business administration information system. The result illumilates practicability and precursor of the system.
