With the popularization of computer and progress of network, Internet develops rapidly for its low cost, wide area and easy operation. As a new transacting mode based on Internet, E-commerce fully utilizes the cooperation of bank, distributing center, telecommunication and technological service departments to construct a efficient integrate transacting platform for negotiation, on-line ordering and on-line payment among customers, suppliers, producers, wholesalers and retailers, which greatly reduces the transacting cost. As a new economic mode, E-commerce has a lot of advantages over the traditional commerce. Its increasing global implement has brought profound effects on the economic developments all over the world, and caused important changes in people's producing, living mode and consuming idea. Information share and high-speed transmission have contributed to the huge convenience in people's daily life, and E-commerce has already inevitably become the future commercial trend.However, emergence of every new thing including E-commerce, which is essentially a new transacting and serving mode, always brings both active and negative aspects at the same time. The global and open characteristics of Internet have brought more and more serious secure problems to the Internet based E-commerce. The implement of E-commerce is facing rigorous secure challenges; the frequent occurrences of virus, hacker intrusion and secure accident have resulted in more and more costs. Security of network, especially the security of E-commerce, has attracted more and more attentions. In other words, security has become the bottleneck of the E-commerce development, which is badly affecting and restricting the latter. Any individual, enterprise, commercial organization or bank will not perform transactions through an insecure network, which will leak the commercial secrets or personal privacy and cause serious losses.In order to guarantee the smooth development of E-commerce in secure environment, several secure techniques and means, such as Firewall, Information Encryption, Digital Signature and Identity Authentication, are thoroughly studied and widely applied for the Validity, Confidentiality, Integrity and Undeniablity of data. Information Encryption technique is the most basic secure measure for E-commerce. The chaos-based encryption is mainly based on the unique properties of chaotic system:sensitivity to tiny changes in initial conditions and parameters, random-like behavior, etc. The chaotic encryption has great merits, such as strong confidentiality, good randomness, numerous keys, easy key change, and has potential advantages in the aspects of anti-jamming, intercepting ratio and signal hide and so on. So, this Dissertation is entitled by Security of E-commerce and Chaotic Encryption and we attempt to do some pilot studies on the theory of the security of E-commerce and methods of chaotic encryption.
