In recent years, the Information Technology industry and communication technology develop rapidly.Large data of digital multimedia information such as image files, audio files, video files can be transmitted in the network with the style of rapid, efficient and free.Multimedia has become the main channel of communication between people.Because of the characteristics of a large amount of data, the higher correlation degree between data and the vivid information, the digital image has been widely penetrated into all fields of our life and become one of the important means for people to express information.However,while the digital image transports in the network with fast and convenient at the same time it also brings many security problems for people.Once the digital image involved in commercial and military confidential information is illegal to steal and is destroyed in the process of network transmission, it will be a huge losses. So the digital image security and secrecy has a long way to go.Encryption technology is the core technology to protect the security of information transmission. But for the huge amount of data,strong correlation of the digital image, traditional encryption technology is no longer applicable.Because of sensitivity on initial condition, long-term unpredictability,intrinsic randomness, the chaotic has become the common method in the secure communication industry. And the chaotic encryption technology has become a hot topic in current research work.The paper explores the research and application of chaotic encryption technology based on the full analysis on chaotic characteristics. And the main work and the main contribution of this paper are embodied in the following four aspects.In this paper, through the basic research and analysis on the chaotic system of Cellular Neural Network,the digital image encryption method based on the Cellular Neural Network and chaotic is proposed and the experiments show that image encryption security is better.The first encryption algorithm is designed based on the hyper chaos of generalized five order Henon mapping and five order Cellular Neural Network.The second encryption algorithm is proposed based on the chaotic systems of Chen and three order CNN.At last the paper makes a summary of the main contents of thesis, finds deficiencies and points out the direction of future development.
