In previous systems, the usual practice is to develop different operation interfaces according to different business needs, and each interface is independently connected to related business operations. The development of such separate modules cannot meet the needs of the fast development of the mobile communication market and is difficult to update and maintain. In order to solve these problems in the fee system, a new type of development model is needed to integrate the modules that perform different functions to realize unified maintenance and automatic updating. The COM technology is technology which can be used to develop component modules binary system compatible to realize unified maintenance and automatic updating.This thesis first gives a detailed account of the standards, principles and development of COM module in the Windows operating system. And then, based of COM module's cross platform and binary system compatibility features it then introduces how to use VC++ and VB languages to develop and to integrate the nodules, and to analyze and study the AcitveX technology developed on the basis of COM technology.
