101 Pos Machines, Component-based Technology To Quickly Develop The Cash Register System

Low efficiency and complex programming is the typical feature of traditional POS application development based on IBM SureOne 101 POS (Point Of Sale) computer . As for this, this paper provides a new approach of accelerating POS application development and the research is applied successfully to MIS solution of Baixin Grop. in Yuxi city of Yunnan province.Firstly, the paper introduces the traditional way of POS developing, and some remark is given . Secondly, the rest content of the paper is focused on analyzing the possibility of rapidly developing POS application and introducing component technology to accelerate development. At the end of the paper, the last chapter, a relatively common logical model about POS application system has been shown clearly.In my opinion, as to 101 POS terminal, OS changing from DOS to Win95 accelerate the development of POS application in "technology" and the introducing of component technology will further accelerate to develop POS application in "approach" . The article is based on 101 POS computer, but it is also worth referring when we develop POS system based on other POS computer whose quality must surpass 101 POS computer.
