Logging data communication system is researched in this paper. According to the analysis of the features of the logging data communication system, a project based on the Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and Controller Area Network (CAN) Field-bus is advanced. And the selection of the project, and the realization of the hardware & software, and the reliability and the ability of anti-disturbance were researched.The sampling and processing of signal from the cable is realized in this system; These data will be transferred to the main controller machine by the CAN field-bus communication system, and will be analysed and recorded, the node receives the command signal from the main controller machine and controls the field equipment. The sampling of the DSP real-time data and CAN field-bus data communicaton were researched and realized in this paper, and the realization of the CAN field-bus by DSP was especially researched. And the program was written by DSP C.The CAN Field-bus has a lot of advantages, such as the high communication rate, high reliability, and convenience. The reliability and real-time performance will be improved , and the structure is very simple, convenient to maintain, and is easy to be extended if CAN Filed-bus technology is used in the logging data communication system.
