Abstract/Summary:
With the development of Financial Information Technology, the quantity of financial information and data are increasing by geometric series. The requirements of application with these data are more and more complicated. Because finance has many affiliation with the operation, its data and information are closely related with all aspects of the business, which result in variety of source for financial information. In order to strongly support decision, financial personnel have to collect information all round, use variety of applications, and open numerous files and documents. Thus the energy and time of them are wasted unnecessarily.The up-to-date enterprise portal technology may offer thorough solution by providing highly-integrated application environment and information interface. This article explains the necessity and feasibility of building enterprises financial management information portal by starting with discussing the situation of financial information technology, deeply investigates relative technologies of new generation enterprise portal, and briefly proposes the construction project of financial management information portal with HEPC's practical circumstance considered.In this article, I design the portal system as 3-layer application frame composed of presentation layer, application layer and data layer. The system's total frame is designed as highly centralized system frame. The article also concretely expatiates the function design and implementation from such aspects: Data & Application Integration, Cooperation and Business Intelligence.Finally, the article also provides the project's methods and management principles in order to assure the success of implementation of Financial Management Information Portal.
