Research Of Search Engine Based On JXTA

Search Engine (abr. SE) appears accompanying the rapid development of Internet throughout the world. And what's more, with the high-speed evolution of the Internet and the World Wild Web (WWW) technology whose whopping information explodes, it's difficult to search the accurate, efficient and fast-found information that is fit for the requirement of users when they face the information data in such amount based on the traditional Search Engines which are on the central Servers. Furthermore, the Search Engine Technology need further exploiting and consummating to meet the change of the new situation.In this thesis, it augments the scale of SE and improves it performance by probing into the new information-searching model, which is a peer-to-peer distributed searching model. First of all, it analyzes the key technology, developing trend and challenge to face of the traditional SE technology. And then it describes a new method combining the advanced P2P methodology and the traditional SE technology, which measures up to the orientation of SE technology's local and distributed development. Lastly, this dissertation summarizes the advantages of the SE System on P2P Distributed Searching Model, which includes high instant performance, deep and wide scope in content, high precision in searching result and high efficiency as well by comparing with the current SE based on the network spider.In order to resolve the compatible problem existing in the P2P systems, JXTA is adopted which is new generation general P2P development platform. And all the work can be done on this platform comprising the P2P searching network construction, the definition and implementation of the requiring service grounded on the JXTA SE system in the searching network, modeling a high expansible and localizing SE system, and offering a feasible solution to improve the scale and capability of SE system.The study of P2P SE is still in the theoretical phase without mature mercantile application. This treatise for master degree gives a methodology to construct a SE system based on P2P distributed searching model, which dedicates to the design and development of a valuable P2P SE system in the future.
