Quartz Resonance Weighing Sensor System

With the development of science technology, the function and status of sensortechnology have a full display on all the departments of economy. Now, thedevelopment and application of weighing sensor, as a branch of sensors, attractsmore and more attention. Quartz Resonance Weighing Sensor is a new kind ofweighing sensor,and it will have a bright future for its good repeatability, no lag,excellent time stability, low cost and suitability for mass-production. Now, there is a large demand for Quartz Resonance Weighing Sensor, but theinefficient examining means becomes a big obstacle to further improve theproduction to a certain degree. So it is necessary to find a new way to improve themeasuring efficiency. In this thesis, Quartz Resonance Weighing Sensor's model isanalyzed in detail, and a new design method of testing systemis shown. The output of quartz resonance weighing sensor is a 3.5MHz high frequencysignal, and the examining system uses CPLD to collect data of frequent signal of thissensor. CPLD is a modern Programmable Logic Device, with the characteristic thatwe can rebuilt the device structure and the working style by programming and adjustthe plan to satisfied the production upgrade easily. What is more, by using CPLD, wecan remove some shortcomings such as narrow measuring range and low precisionon frequencyproduced by only using single chip, when we are measuring frequencysignal. The testing system introduced in this thesis consists of four parts: forcegenerating set, testing circuit, measuring software and data analyzing software. It canmeasure eight weighing sensors simultaneously. The system can provide referenceexperience for enterprise on improving measuring efficiency, reducing labor intensityand achieving mass-production greatly.
