The Research And Application Of LonWorks Technology In The Internet Remote Intelligent Monitoring And Controlling System

LonWorks technology was developed by Echelon Corporation in America in 1991. Owing to Lon Works' advantages and Echelon Corporation's endeavor incessantly, Lon Works has already become one of the most poplar fieldbus in the world. The application scope of Lon Works that is very wide involves many domains such as building, factory, train, family, power, and airplane etc. Lon Works has very excellent performance in building distributing monitoring & controlling network.By dint of the development advantages in processing and building automation in our major of automation in our university nowdays, the author applied Lon Works technology to the design of Internet remote intelligent monitoring and controlling system. We may use Internet browser software to monitor and control remote field objects on Internet. The author made very deep research including many contents of LonWorks and application of designing Internet Internet remote intelligent monitoring and controlling system based on LonWorks. In the end, the author designed and implemented two new type systems.Combined advanced control technique with LonWorks technology, the author wrote the advanced control program into LonWorks intelligent node and let the designed controller to hold more robust adaptability and anti-jamming ability. In addition, we little modify this controller and apply it to other objects. The author make use of the device named i.LON 1000 in network sufficiently and not only enhance the performance of system and easy to build a large scale network but also load programs for intelligent nodes on Internet. A majority of above motioned contents have not appeared in national periodicals.The dissertation emphasizes the author's research that includes technique and realized means in the application of using LonWorks technology when designing Internet remote intelligent monitoring and controlling system including total programming of system, the design of intelligent node that is comprised of hardware and software, the connection between LonWorks control network and Internet and the design of remote monitoring & controlling software etc. The author designed and implemented two new type systems. One is the Internet remote temperature intelligent monitoring & controlling system based on LonWorks, the other is the Internet remote house intelligent monitor & control system based on LonWorks. The two systems sufficiently made use of LonWorks Technology and advanced control techniques and they have already been achieved in lab and theirs performances meet anticipant demands and have good market foreground.In brief, the author made the very deep research to the LonWorks technology and the research involves the great majority contents that embarking upon project development with the LonWorks technology. The designs and implements of twosystems have better typical character. One is the typical application of industry process controlling; the other is the typical application of intelligent house. The author applied nerve network PID controlling technology to the design of intelligent node and sufficiently developed the technical advantages of LonWorks technology and advanced control technology.
