Students Management System Applying To The Distant Network Education

Now we have stepped into an information society. With the developing of related technologies and the increasing of knowledge, more and more people need to be educated, and they require high quality education. The education methods are going through a thorough transforming, for traditional teach methods have unavoidable limitations. As a reformation of conventional education method, distance education is familiar to us. And people are thinking more and more of distance education, all the same, distance education management system has become a researching focus of education industry and information industry.The managing system of students' information is a necessary part of the managing system of distant education, and it will play an important role. This thesis is focus on such system.Firstly, the exordium introduced the background knowledge and the development of the distance education in our country and other countries, and abstracted the task of the thesis. Then we introduced the requirement analysis of the task and the development tools, which is Visual Basic6.0, and the Database system, which are SQL Server 2000 and Microsoft Access. Afterwards, the third chapter introduced the analysis and design of the whole system architecture and functional modules, as well as the detailed analysis and design of each module and the sample codes. Finally, the thesis listed some problems we met and some skills we used during the work, and made the summarization.The production of the thesis has high usability, after strict test and improvement; it can be brought into use. And it will be helpful for the development of distance education industry.
