Data Exchanged In Web Service Based On XML Technology

Modern companies have to face a complex information system with different OS, different data encoding rules, and different architectures as the developing of computer technology. So W3C use XML to solve the problem.XML is fast emerging as the standard for data representation and exchange on the Word Wide Web. Files under the standard of XML can not only save the data but also the structure of the data itself. XML can representations data precisely using the ability of extensible markup. XML technology has huge potential and develops fast in data exchange field. The nodes with different physical structure, different operating system different data structure, can exchange data freely with each other on the Internet, using the technology of XML. They can also call the functions on the other node. They can share the source of the node on the Internet. The Web Service can use the protocol based on XML technology to transport data in XML documents. So XML technology plays an important role in the implementation of Web Service. Web Service is developing fast and into every field of our lives with XML technology.More and more Web technology and Internet protocol are based on XML technology. Data in XML documents is fast emerging in Internet. So it is very important to research the data exchange technology based on XML especially hi Web Service field.I have researched mostly data exchange technology based on XML in this thesis, analyzing the principles such as the structure of XML documents; the methods of validate the structure of XML documents, the parsing of XML documents, the interoperating with relational Data Base and SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) the transporting protocol of Web Service. I will indicate the advantages and the disadvantages of each technology. Then I will give an entire solution of data exchange using XML technology in Web Service. And I will show how it works in an example at last.
