Along with the deepen of the world economy's globalization, enterprise's scope is extending. And the singular geography mode had already broken completely. As a result of trade rivalship is pricking up, big corporations strap their products and services to customers. And quite quantity filiales, offices, distribution institutions branch everywhere in the seven seas. They need information (for example, bid) intercommunion and data (for instance electron commerce) exchange. Such security must be ensured necessarily. In the past, their intercommunion realized via hiring special telephone line. As a result: security was gained but money was extravagant. It is difficult to endure for many enterprises.Presently, Internet spreading all over the world and it is a low-cost and shareware resource. Along with newly technology- Virtual Private Network (VPN) maturated, its performance can entirely reached security demand of data transfer. With the aid of VPN, corporations, usually trade partner, are connected together conveniently and safely. VPN share their resources inside and enhance their competency.But, present VPN speed can not meet our demand. Best of all, data encryption velocity is about 50-60 Mbps in our nation. So solution to the problems of VPN velocity and security becomes important extraordinarily.Under the background, this thesis is put forward, basing POWER PC and DSP. Basing PCI encryption manner, VPN designation emphasized and consulting numerous relevant documents and materials, I have finished work of several the following respects in this report:1 . Analysis of VPN's technology principle, classification, characteristic and security. It is the theory-foundation of VPN.2. Probing into the encryption manner of PCI. Tracking it, we comprehend the realization of VPN encryption and velocity. Analyzing its flaw, we accelerated our plan, embed VPN. And it is the practice-groundwork.3. VPN's security is guaranteed by encryption arithmetic, mathematics base. For the sake of improving VPN's anti-attack ability, we must manage it agilely. So information and data transfers safely.4. Implement of IPSec. In this section, we construe data transfer process of the protocol and bring its shortage forward.5. Hardware design of embed VPN. Precept of main board and daughter board can speedup our plan and upgrade our product. This designation reaches the high level in our nation and has application merit in realization. It is the foundation to the next series VPN. And also it can upgrade our nation'splane in VPN designation.
