USB Interface Technology And Application Study

USB (Universal Serial Bus) is a new standard interface to connect PC and peripherals, Nowadays it is used frequently in PC peripherals. Establishing radar system net is a trend of radar development, enhancing the ability of communication between radar in existence and computer is the base for radar system net. Considering the need of radar data acquisition and data transfers, we carry the design of hardware and software based on USB into execution. This dissertation is subjected to achieving the communication between PC and peripherals, through the design and implementation of USB test system, so as to know the inherent mechanism of USB communication. Then, we also develop a data acquisition system based on USB. After designing and achieving these two USB application systems, we are sure to grasp the USB interface technology.After introducing the USB protocol, we first come out the hardware designs of USB test system and USB acquisition system, and then discuss in detail the design of firmware for USB implementation system, finally we discuss the development of the driver and application.
