So the development based on component in embedded system would bring a number of advantages to the embedded systems. This thesis gives a component model based on existing component technology, and presents the primary implementation.The thesis, firstly, introduces the feature of embedded system and common component models, and the reasons why common component models cannot be easily applied to embedded systems development. Secondly, it presents a new component model named SECOM to the embedded system after analyzing currently embedded system component models. In addition to, we offer a detail analysis about the elements of SECOM component model,reuse method,non-functional constraints, the implement language independent > maintainability and portability etc. While describing the real-time and reliability of non-functional constraints, the formalized methqd-Petri net is used. A timer is created by using TPN S = (P,T,I,O,K,M0,F) to satisfy the real-time. A concept of resource loop and directed assistant arc are drawn into to improve reliability by controlling its activity. At the same time, component repository is presented.Thirdly, we show the design idea and implementation project of visible developing tool.The thesis carries out the study on component model for embedded systems. A new idea is presented on real-time modeling and analyzing component model using formalized method.
