The Research Of The Development Strategy In The University Press

As the special group in the national publishing industry, the university presses develop rapidly and have many problems at the same time. The developmental strategy has played an important role in their operation management. Based on the analysis of the current situation of the college or university press, this thesis intends to make a detailed study on the development of the college or university presses. The problems to be solved in the university presses focus on the following several aspects: ambiguous development orientation of the university press; extensive working mold; inefficient intestine framework. In order to maintain to run favorably, many universities implement the system of extensive cultivation, which leads to wasting the resource of book marks. This thesis emphasizes on studying these problems.This thesis analyses the inner and exterior condition of the university press, and designs the ideal developmental mode of university press, combining correlative policies. The university presses rely on the advantages of university scholarship and abundant publishing resource, finally achieve the maximum of societal and economical benefit. This article uses the mode of SWOT, combining practice of Tianjin University Press, devises the developmental strategy of Tianjin University Press. I believe, at some extent, that the article will be applied value to propel the developmental of the Tianjin University Press.
