This paper is a study on test scheme of performance indexes in an O-E stabilized system that can support several sensors. The system is driven by a muti-loop controlling unit which supplies signals to track/piont target and to stabilize the line-of-sight(LOS),while moving, with high accuracy.Generally the effect of many factors causes a deviation of the result from the ideal, but the stabilization error is a key element of all factors. The system is stabilized against external disturbances. This means that the LOS is really pointing most of the time into a circle around the aim point because of stabilization loop finite bandwidth. The diameter of this circle represents stabilization accuracy. If the error is more than a limit it would be sufficient to move the LOS completely off the target and result in the failure of tracking. To appreciate or to renew the system, we apply the cooperation of optics-mechanics-electronics-computer to construct a professional test instument. The core of this instrument is the application of position sensitive detector(PSD). Ultimately,we get an accrate result by dint of the instrument. The result shows that the stabilization accuracy reaches 69μrad(l σ).Simultaneously, this instrument can be applied in the other similar systems.
