This paper is a study on test scheme of performance indexes in an O-E stabilized system that can support several sensors. The system is driven by a muti-loop controlling unit which supplies signals to track/piont target and to stabilize the line-of - sight (LOS), while moving, with high accuracy. The effect of many factors causes a deviation of the result from the ideal, but the stabilization error is a key element of all factors. The system is stabilized against external disturbances. This means that the LOS is really pointing most of the time into a circle around the aimpoint because of stabilization loop finite bandwidth. The diameter of this circle represents stabilization accuracy. If the error is more than a limit it would be sufficient to move the LOS completely off the target and result in the failure of tracking. In the line-of-sight stability accuracy measurement, the target fixed, and the image stabilization with the single degree of freedom environment simulation platform moving, the stability accuracy is usually described by the angle deviate from image stabilization of the object center, And the CCD's measurement is the objective spot-like image volume of the line in the stabilization imaging direction, which requires prior calibration of the CCD unit of volume equal to the objective angle of stabilization , or equivalent corner, then the volume of the line derive from CCD be converted to the image stabilization-side of the angle.Image acquisition and processing completed by the video track circuit and the CCD camera signals were transmitted to synchronized separation, plastic signals. Composite video signals in a row in the field, frame, and synchronization signal were accurate separated for Video image processing logic gate arrays use.At the same time the image of the analog video signal was converted into digital signal through the image processing circuit. Logic gate array contains images of all the testing digital logic, computing and computer interface logic. As the goal is the radio spot, only to obtain maximum width in the image signal horizontal and vertical directions then we can reach at the centre spot.To appreciate or to renew the system, we apply the cooperation of optics-mechanics -electronics-computer to construct a professional testinstument. The core of this instrument is the application of position sensitive detector. The use of direct luminous point accuracy and stability testing, shortened the processing time for the cycle operation, accurate speaking, this is to shorten the period of the 2-3 orders of magnitude. This means that the limited bandwidth of the disturbance, in such a short period of time, the test results of the testing system and the stability error almost simultaneously changing. All this from the principle point of view, is clearly feasible, but the specific implementation process, there are still many difficult issues and the same test results uncertainty. However, after feasibility studies and analysis of tireless efforts to try to make these uncertainties reduced to a minimum, eventually developed a set of optical, mechanical, electrical, a combination of counting machines to conduct the test accuracy and stability. It can distinguish seconds-class micro perspective changes, to meet a variety of optoelectronic systems and stability to the stability precision measurement requirements and can be used for future projects measurement.Ultimately,we get an accrate result by dint of the instrument. The result shows that the stabilization accuracy reaches 0.03°.Simultaneously,this instrument can be applied in the other similar systems. After improving the the system,we can test the adaptability of the O-E stabilized system under the different visibility conditions.
