The Wireless and Mobile Self-Organized Network (Ad Hoc) is one kind of multi-hop and wireless network, which is of the characteristic of self-organize, multi-hop routing and dynamic topology and can be applied in circumstance, unsuited to construct base station or access point, such as flooding area, landform reconnaissance, mobile office, outdoors activity and airport lobby and so on. Ad Hoc can not only combine with current network forming multi-hop network to extend the scope of traditional network, also, according to different needs, form multi-hop network by self-organized method. Ad Hoc can support several kinds of multi-media service and of high flexibility and expansibility. This project comes from the important project of National '863' project-"Wireless and Mobile Self-Organized Network", the main research of which is the network construction technology and QoS technology supported multi-media services. The research content of this paper maintains two parts: network construction technology and QoS technology. The aim of network construction research is under the environment of without central point to make mobile nodes move more quickly and efficiently when constructing network. This paper put forward the new thought and scenario on the basis of the current problems in network construction, which develops space for network construction in mobile self-organized network. The research aim of QoS technology is to support wireless multi-media services in mobile self-organize network and provide reliability and stability, puts out a new technology, which improve the quality of multi-media services notably.
