My Interpretation And Modification Of Dunhuang Bianwen Jiao Zhu

Dunhuang Bianwen, as an important part of Dunhuang studies, has undergone three stages. Among them, the Dunhuang Bianwen Jiao Zhu by Huang Zheng and Zhang Yongquan has been considered as the best interpretation book. However, there are still many defects ranging from wrong transcripts to wrong interpretations. In view of it, this paper, based on copies of the original and related essays, offers its modification on the incorrect and missing records, and gives its interpretation of some confusing explanations. In doing so, this paper hopes to shed light on our understanding of the important literature Dunhuang Bianwen.
