Research And Realization Of The Network Audit System In Bridge Mode

Network Audit System is prevalently applied to auditing network security in LAN . It is usually used for identity authentication, access control, log record and fee count. Network monitor becomes an important detective way with the rapid development of the network technology. The police bureau has regulated that people who surf internet in public must have an identity certificate. Study of the network audit system has been a prospective area and has far-reaching significance in theory and practice.This thesis is under such background that we present the topic of our work. It is research and realization of the network audit system in bridge mode. The work includes relative technology research, network audit system mode study, system framework research and design, system programming and analysis.The fundamental technology includes linux kernel programming, linux network protocol stack and netfilter analysis, bridge theory research. The system mode study section elicits the advantage of the bridge mode by comparing with the other two modes. The system framework design section raises the thinking of 802.lx protocol and modularization, defines the system API interface. The system program section describes arithmetics and core data structures. At last, I analyses this project in systemic view, proposes some work in the future.
